Kyle, Texas - In fair Kyle, TX, where we lay our scene, Marsha E. Faulkner, a soul of boundless spirit and wit, hath made her final curtsey on the stage of life on the twenty-ninth of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five. She, a cherished daughter of Danville, PA, first greeted the world on the twenty-second of May, in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and in this very town, her story began.
A union of hearts was formed in Danville, where Marsha, the fair maiden, was joined in matrimony to her beloved consort, Tim Faulkner, on the tenth of August, in the year nineteen hundred and seventy-four. Their love did blossom, and from it sprang two offspring, Mathew Faulkner and Kimberly Riley, who, along with her husband Scott, continued the lineage with two grandchildren, Erin and Jack Riley. Marsha's life was further graced by the fellowship of her brethren, three noble brothers named Charles, Mark, and Bob Gatski. Yet, she was preceded in her journey to the stars by her esteemed parents, Dr. Robert and Betty Gatski.
The chronicles of Marsha's learned endeavors began at Danville High School, where she graduated in the class of nineteen sixty-nine. Thence, she did advance to Ithaca College, where she claimed her degree in the year nineteen seventy-three. Her quest for knowledge not yet sated, she didst earn her Master's in Health and Physical Education two years anon.
In her professional theatre, Marsha trod the boards as an educator, enlightening young minds at the Health Science and Human Performance school at Ithaca College, from the year nineteen seventy-four until the year nineteen hundred and ninety. Her teachings did inspire, and her wisdom was imparted to those who would shape the morrow.
Marsha, in her leisure, did find joy in the noble pursuits of Golf and the cunning game of bridge. She was oft found taking to the paths for a walk, a pastime that didst allow her thoughts to wander as freely as her feet. Above all, Marsha's heart was devoted to her family, a treasure she held dearer than any earthly delight.
Let it be known that Marsha was a spirit of mirth and intellect, a concoction most rare. Her laughter could charm the melancholy from the air, and her mind was as sharp as the quill of a learned scribe. She was a beacon of light, her presence a comfort to those who sought her counsel or the warmth of her company.
The stage of life is dimmer now, its colors less vivid in the absence of such a player as Marsha E. Faulkner. Yet, let us not don the robes of sorrow, for she hath left behind a legacy rich with love, laughter, and wisdom. Her story, though concluded in this realm, shall be told and retold by those who were graced by her presence and by those who shall come to know her through the tapestry of memories she hath woven.
And so, with heavy hearts but grateful spirits, we bid adieu to Marsha, a woman of infinite jest and most excellent fancy. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, dear Marsha, until we meet again in that undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveler returns.
