On Oct. 6, 2019, Lyndell Marie (Wertman) Julio, 76, of Herndon, left this world and went to be with the Lord, with her loving husband Tony by her side just like he always was through life.

She was born June 29, 1943, in Berwick, a daughter of Harold and Betty Wertman.

Lyndell was a graduate of Berwick High School, Green Briar College, West Virginia, and College Misericordia.

She retired from K-Mart in 1998 with more than 25 years of service. This allowed her to do more knitting and cross stitch and help take care of her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She had an endless love of shopping which she shared with friends and family.

An avid horse lover, she competed with Tennessee Walking Horses for numerous years making many friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Celeste Ferster, and son, Anthony Julio, both of Dornsife; two grandsons, Jordan Smith and Kolby Smith and step-grandchildren, Whitney, Aaron, Haley and Cody.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
