Luke W. Auker
He was born Jan. 1, 1969, a son of the late Paul and Emeline (Wenger) Auker. On Jan. 2, 1999, he was married to the former Charlene Martin who preceded him on April 23, 2019.
Luke was a member of Stauffer's Old Order Mennonite Church, McKees District.
Leaves to mourn his departure, a son, Darvin and a daughter, Shelby, both at home; 12 brothers and sisters, James and Anna Auker of Ohio, Frank and Ruth Auker of Vandalia, Ill., Russell and Ruth Auker of Lyndonville, N.Y., Paul Auker of Leola, John David and Edna Auker of Ephrata, Chester and Ruth Ann Auker of Stevens, Anna Mae and Levi Stauffer of Athens, Tenn., Roy and Fern Auker of Port Trevorton, Elizabeth and Ray Weaver of Peebles, Ohio, Emeline and Fred Martin of Bainbridge, Ohio, Weaver and Barbara Auker of Ephrata, Noah and Christine Auker of Bainbridge, Ohio, Esther and Elvin Martin of Jackson, Ohio; his father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Gladys Martin of Port Trevorton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Luke was preceded by a brother, Leon; and a sister, Mary Ann in infancy.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the home of his father and mother-in-laws, Harvey and Gladys Martin, 110 Old Trail Road, Port Trevorton. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Sept. 13, at his father and mother-in-laws home, with further services at 12:30 p.m. at Stauffer's Old Order Mennonite Church, McKees District, Old Trail Road and Oriental Road, Liverpoool.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills have been entrusted with the arrangements.
