Lucille A. Noecker Obituary

Lucille A. Noecker, 94, of Northumberland, passed away on March 30, 2025. She was born in Malta on September 16, 1930, a daughter of the late Sarah E. and Landis F. Witmer.


Lucille enjoyed knitting, macramé, making ceramics, shopping and loved to snuggle.


Lucille is survived by her three sons, Dale E. (Edna) Leitzel, Lynn A. (Theresa) Leitzel, Glen A. (Nancy) Leitzel; daughter-in-law, Linda Leitzel; brother, Steward Witmer; two sisters, Violet Louis, Ruth Minnich; 12 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel J. Noecker in 2013; sons , Keith A. Leitzel, Timothy Noecker and Steven Noecker, brother, Sherwood Witmer, sister, Pauline Gutshall.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
