Lucille B. Harvey, 87, formerly of Lewisburg and Millville, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, at the Muncy Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 16, 1932, in Mont Clare, Pa., a daughter of the late George W. and Mae Y. Barlow. Her husband of nearly 54 years, William D. Harvey, preceded her in death on April 20, 2015.

Lucille was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.

She was employed as a teller at the Industrial Valley Bank in Phoenixville when she met her future husband. They were married on May 6, 1961.

Lucille served as substitute organist at St. John's Lutheran Church, Phoenixville, and Centennial Lutheran Church, Kimberton. At Centennial, she was on the altar guild, accompanied the junior choir at practices, and also served as Sunday school pianist.

She enjoyed canning, needlework, helping her husband with gardening, and going on long walks with him. She and her family moved from the Phoenixville area to Millville in 1984.

She is survived by one sister, Sandra Kunkel of Watsontown; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff, and Mary of Picture Rocks; one daughter, Faith Hutter; seven grandchildren, Coray Harvey of Sitka, Alaska, Collin Harvey, and his wife Jessie, of Montgomery, Christian Harvey, and his wife Lauren, of Ulster, Samantha Harvey, Jeffrey Hutter, and Michael Hutter, all of West Chester, and Claudia Davison of Hughesville; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A local memorial service will be held at a later date, and a graveside service will be held in the spring at the East Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring City.
