Lonnie W. Master
Lonnie W. Master, 62, of Middleburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born Oct. 29, 1957, in Meiserville, a son of the late Palmer E. Master and Anna C. (Dressler) Peterson.

He had been employed for a number of years at Middleburg Yarn in Selinsgrove and for 18 years at Professional Building Systems, Middleburg, until illness forced his retirement.

He was a dedicated Christian who supported various Christian ministries.

Lonnie was a people person and found his greatest joy in his grandchildren.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Mistie and Seth Willow of Beaver Springs; two sons, Charles Master and his fiance Robyn Kratzer of Middleburg and Shawn Master and his fiance Trish Heller of Northumberland; eight grandchildren, Candace Hackenberg, Alexia Griffith, Mackenzie Master, Arabella Master, Rylee Weaver, Brady Master, Carson Master and Madison Master; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Gloria Master and Barry and Vickie Master, all of Mount Pleasant Mills; two sisters and brothers-in law, Connie and Larry Sinniger of Huntingdon and Kay and John Benner of Oriental; a half sister, Patricia Sanders and her husband Gary of Mount Pleasant Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a half sister, Grace Arnold.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. with his brother-in-law, Pastor Larry Sinniger officiating.

Burial will be in the Aline Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills.
