Linda George
Linda Gail George, 80, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at Nursing and Rehabilitation at The Mansion, Sunbury.
Born June 15, 1945, in Lewisburg, Linda was a daughter to the late Kenneth and Faye (Dershem) Fisher. On March 5, 1966, she married the love of her life, Ronald George, who survives.
Linda was a 1963 graduate of Lewisburg High School and later retired from Ag Choice Farm Credit where she served as a loan officer.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kratzerville.
Linda cherished spending time with her family and friends and shared a special bond with her best friend, Jean, with whom she spoke to every day. She loved family vacations, especially those spent with their closest friends, creating countless joyful memories together. A devoted sports fan, Linda followed all sports, especially the Selinsgrove Seals, Penn State, Duke, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Above all, she was the proudest and most dedicated cheerleader for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to support them in whatever sport they played.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald George; two daughters, Kelly Wendt (Michael) and Kimberly Fisher (Robert); grandchildren Amber Hauck (Anthony), Kelsey Daddario (Andy), Morgan Kratzer (Nicholas), Jenna Daddario (Cody), and Adam Fisher (Kayleen); 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Oberlin and Carlene Rishel; and many nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a niece.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kratzerville from 10-11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kristina Schaeffer officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Kratzerville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Selinsgrove Athletic Council.
Arrangements are by V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 North High St., Selinsgrove.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
