Sunbury, Pennsylvania - Linda Dawn Gemberling, 57, of Sunbury, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Geisinger Shamokin Hospital.

Born on Sept. 25, 1968, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of William N. Baker and Ida M. Baker. On July 13, 2013, she married Delbert "Rocky" Gemberling, with whom she shared many happy years.

Linda worked as a Patient Access Representative in the Emergency Department at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville and then at Central Credit Audit in Sunbury before having to stay home to focus on her health and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ida Baker.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Rocky Gemberling. Her brother, William "Billy" Baker, his spouse, Wanda; as well as three sisters, Ruth Carter, her partner, Bob, Stacy Aikey, her husband, Jerry and Sherry Iezzi and her husband, Joseph.

She is also survived by her three children: Robert Styers, his wife April; Chelsea Lee, her husband Curtis; Amber Hobbs, her husband Joshua; and two step-children, Nicole Dorman, her husband Matthew and Jessica Hewlett.

Linda was a proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren: Madison, Chloe, Naiomi, Ainsley, Meghan, Trevor, Morgan, Mackenzie, Karleigh, Aiyana, Breana, Kiya, Tymere, Damere, Wynter, and Jared. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren: Ezekiel, Bralynn, Madison, Jaxon, Iroh and Knox.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her beloved pets and had a passion for crafting. She was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and could be heard cheering from far away. She looked forward to trips to Hobby Lobby and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her love for her family, kind heart, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A visitation and memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at 5 p.m. at Zweier Funeral Home in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her memory.
