Linda D. Baker, of East Aurora, NY, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023.
Linda was born March 1, 1947, to Robert and Shirley (nee Bordner) Doebler in Sunbury, Pa. She graduated Sunbury High School in 1965 and received a bachelor's degree in political science from Susquehanna University in 1970. Over the years she worked as a teacher, an office manager, and in consumer relations.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Katherine (Nate) Byrnes; her sisters, Nancy (Don) Neidig and Robin (Bill) Ostrum; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who will fondly remember her as Aunt Linny.
She was predeceased by her son, Aaron Robert Baker; her parents, and her brother-in-law, William Frederick Ostrum.
Linda was known as a faithful friend; a devoted mother, sister and aunt; an enthusiastic debater; and above all, as a fun-loving and generous person. She will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sunbury.
