Richfield - Larry G. Kissinger, 76, of Richfield, entered into rest on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1948, in Lewisburg, a son of the late George and Eva (Feger) Kissinger. On June 19, 1971, he married the former Judith "Judy" A. Moyer, who survives.

Larry was a 1966 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School. Following high school, he served as a medic in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1971.

He worked for Grove Construction and then at the Selinsgrove Center for many years as an electrical foreman.

Larry was a member of Foundations Bible Church in Freeburg, where he served as treasurer for over eight years. He was also a photographer for Area Auto Racing News since 1992.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, Nascar racing, having breakfast at County Line, and being a grandpa.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, Larry is survived by one son, Ryan (Lindsey) Kissinger; one daughter, Raena (Scott) Rood; four grandchildren, Benjamin Rood, Kylie Kissinger, Samuel Rood, and George Rood; two brothers, Randall (Beverly) Kissinger and Ardie (Anna) Kissinger; three sisters-in-law, Jan (Scott) Klinger, Jill Moyer, and Barbara Moyer; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Philip Moyer and Steven Inch.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, with Larry's close friend, Pastor Joseph Mott, officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg.
