Milton, Pennsylvania - Kenneth E. Snyder, 80, of Milton, passed away on Sunday, Febr. 22, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Milton on July 18, 1945, he was the son of the late Isabelle and Robert Snyder. He was the loving husband of Beverly (Wilkins) Snyder for 42 years.
He was a loving father to his two sons and their wives, Fritz and Terri Snyder, of Milton and David and Karen Snyder, of Lititz, and two stepsons and their wives, Russell and Pamela Showers, of Milton, and David and Debra Showers, of Watsontown, and a loving "Pappy" to seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six older brothers Bob, John, Don, Gene, Sidney and Barry.
Ken was a graduate of Milton High School and spent the majority of his career in the trucking industry, retiring from Yellow Trucking in 2003. He was a faithful lifetime member of Paradise United Church of Christ, Milton, and a social member of VFW Post 1665 in Milton.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially outdoors, hunting and fishing. One of his favorite places was "Snyder Mountain" in Tioga County. He and Beverly also loved hunting for hidden antique treasures. Ken was known for his friendly personality. Put him with a group of people and you'd find him making friends in no time.
Friends and relatives will be received on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Paradise UCC, 8105 Paradise Road, Milton. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Doug Schader officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ken's name may be made to Paradise UCC, PO Box 252 Milton, PA 17847.
