Elizabethville, PA - Kenneth Elwood Deppen, 90, of Elizabethville, passed away on December 19, 2025, at his home in Elizabethville. He was born in Killinger on May 15, 1935, a son of the late Effie and Charles Deppen. Kenneth was employed 18 years on the dairy farm, 9 years at Muskin Shoe Company and 44 years at Weis Market Warehouse.


He served in the Navy for four years on the USS Antietam (CVS-36). He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Malta, Life member of the Alvin E. Long American Legion Post 504, Dalmatia; Diamond Jubilee VFW Post 2385, Gratz; Herndon Fire Company; Moose Lodge 1173; Rescue Hose Company, Sunbury; Nory Hookies. Kenneth enjoyed traveling and his time with his family..


Kenneth is survived by his Spouse, Mary (Hoffman) Deppen; Son, Donald (Audrey) Deppen; Son, Dale Deppen; Daughter, Donna (Corey) Bell; Brother, Ronald Deppen; Sister, Barbara Walborn; Brother, Roger Deppen; Sister, Debra Clark; Step-son, Kendel (Chrissy) Shade; Step-daughter, Holly (Rod) Schlegel; Grandchildren,Derrick (McKenzie) Cook; Kevin Cook; Christopher (Katrina) Deppen; seven step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betty (Bordner) Deppen; sister, Dartha Wilhour; brother, Dennis Deppen.


A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from10:00 am to 11:00 am at St Luke's United Church of Christ, Malta. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, St Luke's United Church of Christ, Malta. Interment with military honors will take place in the St Luke's Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Gratz VFW or Dalmatia Legion.
