Milton - Kathryn J. "Kathy" Hackenberg, 83, of Milton, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Mansion Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sunbury.
Born in Danville on Feb. 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Elizabeth S. (Mattern) Faust. She was married to the late Lloyd R. Hackenberg.
Kathy was a 1961 graduate of Shamokin High School and worked for Pennsylvania House and Goodwill Industries.
She had a flair for interior decorating, loved entertaining family and friends, and adored her dogs.
She is survived by three daughters, Kelly Everitt and her husband Doug of Montandon, Laurie Atteberry and her husband Robert of New Mexico, and Michelle Russell and her husband Scott of Centre Hall; two stepdaughters, Kay Knauss and her husband Rich of Colorado, and Sharon Clemens and her husband Jim of Milton; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Carol Jean Masotti of Stamford, Conn.
Following Kathy's wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton and condolences may be shared at shawfuneralhomeinc.com.
