Milton, Pennsylvania - K. Barton Reichard Jr., 82, of Milton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at his home.

Born in Danville on Jan. 4, 1943, he was the son of the late Karl Barton Sr. and Kathryn (Hertz) Reichard. He was married to the former Joyce A. Bouchard. Together, they celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Bart was a 1960 graduate of Milton High School and a 1964 graduate of Lycoming College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from AC&F in 2004 after 36 years of service.

He was a member of the Milton Lions Club and the Milton Chamber of Commerce, served on the board of MAIDA, and was a member of the board of Evangelical Community Hospital from 1981 to 1994. During that time, he was board president for the last two years. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milton, where he was on the finance committee, and the Bugler's card club.

In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by two children and their spouses John K. and Cylinda Reichard, of Middleburg, and Kristine M. and Eric Sheffer of Gettysburg, and five grandchildren, Collin Reichard, Ronald Reynolds, Sydnie Reynolds, Dylan Sheffer and Austin Krahel.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Penelope Maag and Gail Feustel.

Friends and relatives will be received on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, from noon to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 47 Walnut St., Milton. Funeral services will begin at 1 with Rev. Dr. Stephen G. Shirk officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Milton Cemetery.

A private service will be held on Saturday for the immediate family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St. Milton.
