Julia C. Eck, 54, of Paxinos, passed away on Aug. 16, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 28, 1964, in Allentown, a daughter of the late Carl T. and Catherine E. (Oswald) Eck.

Julia resided in Paxinos for the past 15 years and previously lived in Mertztown.

She was a 1982 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, and a graduate of The Practical Nursing Program of the Reading Muhlenberg Technical School in 1985.

She was employed as residential program supervisor for the Redco Group for 15 years. She previously worked at The Topton Lutheran Home (Diakon) for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Lucinda S. Fiorini (significant other of Robert L. Buck); her best friend of 30 years, Diane Flore; her work sister, Tammy Kerstetter; and cats, Lakota and Cyndi (the girls).

Funeral services will be private.
