Judy L. Mowery Obituary

Judy L. Mowery, 74, of Church Street, Freeburg, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, at her home.

Judy was born Sept. 1, 1950, in Sunbury a daughter of the late Carson and Betty (Frederick) Reichenbach. On Sept. 29, 1968, she married Terry Mowery who preceded her in death in August of 2020.

She was a graduate of Shikellamy High School.

Judy worked for the Daily Item in Sunbury for over 30 years until she retired.

She enjoyed gardening, diamond art, reading and spending time with her grandkids.

Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jason and Jenn Mowery; two daughters and one son-in-law Toisie Mowery, Terri and Robbie Snyder; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Butch and Alan Reichenbach, and sister Joann Barton.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. in Northumberland Memorial Park, 2956 PA-61 Sunbury.

Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
