Joyce Ann Wesner, 81, a resident of Milton, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born Dec. 3, 1937, a daughter of the late Lowell A. and Grace E. (Hironimus) Hettinger. Joyce married Donaud H. "Sonny" Wesner, and his death on May 3, 2004, broke a marital union of more than 48 years.

Joyce was a 1955 graduate of Milton High School.

Earlier in life, Joyce had been employed by the former Bell Telephone Company in Lewisburg as an operator and the former A & P Grocery store in Milton. She retired from Clasters Lumber in Milton.

Joyce was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Milton for more than 50 years. She was a former member of the church choir, trustees, worship and mission teams. She was a member of the Milton Womens Club, the Valley Hatters (formerly the Red Hatters), the Penn Wheelers Square Dance Club and volunteered at Love INC.

Joyce enjoyed playing pinochle and riding motorcylces with Sonny.

She is survived by one son, Donaud A. "Andy" Wesner and wife Nancy of Milton; two stepgrandchildren, Kim E. Bowers-Antolick and husband Jeffrey of Lewisburg, and Timothy M. Bowers and wife Angela of Milton; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor and Wesley Bowers; one stepgreat-great-grandson, Bryson Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one sister, Janet M. Betzer.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 102 Lower Market St., Milton, followed by a memorial service at 2, with her pastor, the Rev. Dale Hippensteel, officiating.

Interment will be in the Milton Cemetery.
