Joseph Osgood Sr. Obituary
Mount Pleasant Mills, Pennsylvania - Joseph H. Osgood, Sr., 81, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered into rest on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Richfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with his wife and children by his side.
Born on September 22, 1944, in Lewisburg, he was a son to the late James and Alverna (Fisher) Osgood. On September 12, 1964, he married the former Margie M. Zechman, who survives. The couple shared a devoted union of 61 years.
Joe was a 1963 graduate of Middleburg High School.
Joe was employed at Wood Mode in Kreamer for 43 years, serving as a supervisor until his retirement in 2008.
He was a member of the Fremont Fire Co.
In his free time, Joseph enjoyed woodworking, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife, Joseph is survived by a son, Joseph (Debbie) Osgood, Jr.; daughter Lisa (Scott) Wolf; two sisters, Jaqueline Graybill and Suzanne Walter; grandchildren Stephen (Emily) Osgood, Shaun Osgood, Kaitlyn (Blake) Zechman, Keanan (Julia) Wolf, Kasey Wolf, and McKenna Osgood; and great-grandchildren Rowan, Nami, Griffin, Charlotte, and Cora.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Larry, James Jr., and Terry Osgood.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg with Chaplain Gary Krabill officiating.
Interment will take place in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
