Joann K. Kerstetter, 92, of North 3rd Street, Lewisburg, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at Evangelical Community Hospital.
Born in Milton on Nov. 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Kathryn (Kreitzer) Hartman.
Joann was a 1950 graduate of Lewisburg High School, and she worked at JPM in Lewisburg. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Lewisburg.
Joann was a Foster Grandmother for 9 years in the Union Snyder Foster Grandparents program. She enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Charles R. "Bob" Kerstetter Jr. and wife Jean of Watsontown; a daughter, Tammy Kerstetter of Lewisburg; three sisters, Dorothy Zechman of Laurelton, Gloria Johnson and husband John of Mifflinburg, and Sandra Balliet of Lewisburg; five grandchildren, Bobbi Jean and husband Dale, Anthony, Jade and husband Brian, Cody, and Shelby, and five great-grandchildren.
Joann was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Johnson.
Friends and relatives will be received Monday, Jan. 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ethan Shearer officiating.
