Mifflinburg - Jeanne M. Lococo, 82, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Born on Aug. 21, 1943, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Anne (Kelly) Conti. Jeanne was a graduate of Saint Bartholomew Catholic Academy and later St. Michael's Academy in Manhattan. She continued her education at St. John's University in Jamaica, New York, where she earned a degree in education.

Jeanne dedicated many years to teaching, having taught at P.S. 68 in Ridgewood, New York, and later serving as a substitute teacher with the Mifflinburg Area School District.

She was married to John J. Lococo for 40 years before his passing. Jeanne is survived by her children, Eileen Albanese DeCecco, Andrea Albanese Clark, and Jonathan Lococo; her sisters, and her six grandchildren, Paige DeCecco, Drew DeCecco, Cassidy Clark, Ryan Clark, Oliver Lococo, and John Lococo.

Private graveside services will be held in Mifflinburg Cemetery. A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held in New York in the spring.
