Jean M. Fedder
Jean M. Fedder, 90 years young, of Sunbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at the HCR Manor Care, Sunbury.
Jean was born June 10, 1929, at home in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Reeder) Keller. In 1947, she married Robert E. Klose, they later divorced in 1965. Jean then married Robert H. Fedder on Feb. 14, 1969, their marital union lasted until his death Feb. 13, 1970. Jean then had a companionship of 11 years with Robert L. "Tank" Wagner until his death in November 1983. Guess she liked Bob's.

Jean graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1947.
She was employed in retail in various locations during her life including Bowmans, Rea & Derick, Dutch Pantry, and Boscov's until her retirement in July 2000.

Jean was an artsy fartsy kinda gal who dabbled in oil painting, charcoal sketches, quilting, and photography. Jean was always the one snapping pictures and capturing memories. She was a talented seamstress, anything from doll clothes for her daughter and then later her granddaughters, pillows, clothing, curtains, you name it. Jean was an extremely talented woman. Jean's family members all have a little piece of her in there homes from her many talents. She also enjoyed traveling especially out west. She went on many cruises and adventures with her daughter.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Lynne C. Gladfelter Mahaffey; two granddaughters and their husbands, Shannon and Charles Stake and Jennifer and Donald Hunt; and four great-grandchildren, Connor and Caden Stake and Joshua Hunt and Brittany Hunt-Strahan.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Klose.

Jean was taken from us long before Nov. 9. Parkinsons and dementia robbed her remaining years.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
