Janet W. Bennett Obituary
Janet W Bennett, 95, of Danville passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at Emmanuel Center for Nursing Danville.
She was born in Danville on Aug. 27, 1929, a daughter of the late Harry V and Margaret E (Ruhl) Wolfe. She was married to Robert L Bennett who preceded her in death Jan. 21, 2014.
Janet was a 1947 graduate of the Lewisburg High School and the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing.
Janet was a Registered Nurse and retired from Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village after 15 years of service.
She enjoyed reading, cards, ceramics, having her own ceramics shop for several years, enjoyed yard sales, and attended the First Baptist Church in Danville.
Surviving are a daughter Deborah (Gary) Tanner of Danville and a son Craig (Patricia) Bennett of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the John H Shaw III Funeral Home Lewisburg.
