James E. Pensyl Obituary
James E. Pensyl, 59, of Elysburg, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by family.
He was born June 18, 1959, in Panama Canal Zone, a son of the late Rodger and Mae (McCabe) Pensyl.
James graduated from Shamokin High School and served in the National Guard for 20 years.
He was employed by Selinsgrove Center for 32 years until retirement.
He was an avid Penn State fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Denise Hoffman; two daughters, Jennifer Lorrey and husband Robert, of Orlando, Fla., and Andrea Burd and fiance Devin Knorr of Elysburg; two sisters, Debra Kiefaber and Lori Bender and husband Bruce; six grandchildren, Robert, Dylan, Conner, Alexis, Breanna, and Sophia; and in-laws, John and Helen Hoffman.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 17, at Rothermel-Heizenroth Funeral & Cremation Service, Elysburg, followed by the funeral at noon.
Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery, Elysburg.
