Milton - Jackie "Zeke" Fisher, 85, of Milton, passed away on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
Born in West Milton on Dec. 24, 1939, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Horrox) Fisher. He was married to the former Marval-Ann Stamm. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage.
Zeke was a 1957 graduate of Milton High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the US Postal Service and as owner of Zeke's Bar and Stamm's Dairy. He was a member of the Montandon American Legion, Loyal Order of Moose in Milton, the Milton VFW, and the Free and Accepted Masons.
Zeke was an avid golfer and bowler. He also loved to spend time outdoors, working on cars and tractors, and spending time with family. If he wasn't outdoors, you could find him watching an old western on the television or tinkering with his trains.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Chad E, Fisher and his wife Marie of Milton; a daughter Trina K. Fisher and her husband Barry of East Berlin; three grandchildren Jeremiah Fisher and his wife Chaslyn, Jacqueline Fisher, and Cacy Fisher and her husband Kurtis; a brother Jimmy D. Fisher of Montandon, and a sister Shirley Franquet of West Milton.
He was preceded in death by four brothers Robert Fisher, Fred Fisher, Terry Fisher, and Richard Fisher.
Following Zeke's wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton.
