Langhorne, Pennsylvania - Jack E. Felix, 82, of Langhorne, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Oxford Enhanced Senior Living, Langhorne.
He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Sunbury, a son of the late Walter R. Sr. and Mildred (Kniss) Felix. Jack was married to the former Carol D. Wentzel who preceded him in death on Aug. 26, 2023.
Jack was a graduate of Sunbury High School with the class of 1962. He then went on to earn his associate's degree at Williamsport Area Community College.
He was a retired business manager for Runnerless Knits in Sunbury. In his early years he worked for Walter R. Felix Locksmith and went on to be the owner.
Jack was a member of the First Reformed UCC Church in Sunbury since 1956 where he served on the consistory and held several other offices.
He was a member of the Sunbury Kiwanis Club since the early 1990's where he served as past president and treasurer and was also the First State of Pennsylvania Trustee for the Central Susquehanna Valley for multiple terms. He received the Goerge F. Hixson Fellowship Award, which recognized individuals who have made significant contributions to Kiwanis' mission of serving children.
Surviving are two children, Brian (Deborah Brown) Welsh and Swatara (Andrew) Godwin; one grandson, Andrew Jack Godwin; one sister, Joan Shaffer; and countless nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Robert Felix Jr.; and one sister, Luann Hunt.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral service at 11 with Rev. David Keyworth officiating.
Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
