Irene J. Boyer, 78, of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at Garden of Stevens.

Born in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Dorothy (Hoey) Hoffman.

Irene dedicated many years of her life as a retail manager at Boscov's and Sears. She had a passion for fashion and loved shopping on QVC, always making sure she was impeccably dressed and put together. Irene found joy in music and dancing, especially to disco, though she was a homebody at heart. She cherished the simple pleasures of life, like spending time with her two beloved Yorkies, Summer and Sammie. Wednesdays were always special, as she looked forward to lunch with her dear girlfriends, a tradition that brought her so much happiness.

She is survived by her children, Jackie (Rick) Purnell, Bobbi Jo (Cris) Delbaugh, and Billie Jo (Eric) Fears; her siblings, Jack Hoffman, Robert Hoffman, and Phyllis Lauver; her grandchildren, Sara (Dan) Martin, Matt Purnell, Taylor (Joe) Stahley, Trey (Delanie) Delbaugh, Mason Fears, and Myles Fears; and her great-grandchildren, Lucas, Leah, Mae, Navy and Porter.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in her passing by her husband, Robert Smeltz, whom passed in 1999 and her second husband, Russel Boyer, who passed in 2017.

Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.
