West Milton - Herman R. "Dick" Brouse, 93, of West Milton, passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Lewisburg on Oct. 1, 1931, he was the son of the late Homer and Sally (Gessner) Brouse. He was married to the former Margaret Reichelderfer. They were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary very soon.

Dick graduated from Montandon High School and served in the Pa National Guard for six years. He was employed by American Home Foods retiring after 40 years of service. He was a farmer. An avid gardener and recycler. He loved to play games (and win) with his family. Everyone loved him.

Dick and Margaret enjoyed traveling to France, Italy and Isreal. They were snowbirds in winter traveling to their Florida home. He enjoyed his Thursday breakfast club with his good friends.

In addition to his wife Margaret, he is survived by three sons Timothy Brouse, Michael Brouse, and Lyle Brouse, three stepdaughters Margo Konetski and her husband Mark, Sherry Knauss and her husband Roger, and Lesa Renn and her husband Blaine, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two sisters Selicia Robenolt and Shirly Roush, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Greg Brouse.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the Montandon Baptist Church 257 Main St., Montandon.
