Shamokin Dam - Helen Andrews, of Shamokin Dam, transitioned to be with her beloved Husband Fred Andrews on July 24, 2026, where she will also be reunited with her Dutiful son Clark, who passed January of 2025.

Helen was born in Cambridge, Mass., in September of 1925 to Joseph and Martha Woiczak on Prospect St. near Inman Sq. Her sister Judy (Pauline) Fellows, passed away in August of 2000.

She was a "Rosie the Riveter," Employed by the Watertown Arsenal during WW2. She had fond memories of the work and being a part of the war effort and doing her share.

She met the love of her life at a Military dance in 1941, Fred was a Private in the Army, later was employed by the Raytheon company after the war in Boston, they were married in 1943, surrounded by family and military members of Fred's platoon, settling in the Roxbury section of Boston and were blessed with two children, Clark and Donna.

She loved to cook and shop. She never visited without bringing fudge from Boscov's!

Helen and Fred Moved to PA in 1953, for Fred's new job opportunity, they lived in the Williamsport area before settling in Shamokin Dam, where they lived the rest of their lives...

She was loved for her Spirit and Humor and her Joy in everything she was a part of.

Life well lived Aunty, we miss you "Dahling" you were one of a kind.

In September, Aunty would have been 102.

Helen is survived by her daughter Donna Innapollo in Rochester N.Y.; Her nieces Susan Fellows and husband Bart Gannon of Southbury, Conn., Mary Fellows and husband John Conk, of Riverdale-Bronx, N.Y.; nephews Scott Fellows and wife Michelle Fellows of Pasadena, Calif., Mark and wife Anne Fellows of Altadena, Calif., and grand-nieces and nephews, Cleo Fellows-Conk, Jack and Wes Gannon.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, at 1 p.m. in Schreiner's Cemetery, 59 Schreiner's Road, Shamokin Dam, Pa.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
