Hazel V. Benfer, 94, formerly of Milton, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
Hazel was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Sheets) Vanatta. She was married to Ammon F. Benfer Jr. who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 2005, after 50 years of marriage.
She was a member of St. Peters United Methodist Church of Milton.
Surviving are three sons, David A. (Sandra) Benfer, Timothy L. (Lou Ann) Benfer, and Thomas M. (Lisa) Benfer, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
