Harold P. Danowsky Obituary
Lewisburg - Harold P. Danowsky, 85, of Lewisburg passed away at the home of his daughter and son-in-law where he resided for the last year.
Born in Lewisburg on June 25, 1940, he was the son of the late Daniel S. and Verna E. (Snyder) Danowsky. He was married to the former June S. Kerstetter for 64 years until her death in 2024.
Harold worked for American Home Foods retiring in 2001 after 30 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Melody J. and Don Kleckner of Lewisburg; a son and daughter-in-law Harold P. Jr. and Kenda Danowsky of New Columbia; three grandchildren Kathryn R. Von Blohn (Bryan), Trevor R. Danowsky (Stephanie), and Zachary D. Kleckner ( Meghan); four great-grandchildren, Mason Kleckner, Aubree Kleckner, Bailee Danowsky and Ellie Danowsky , and a sister Marlene Baker of Lewisburg.
In addition to his wife June, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Darcie A. Kleckner; four brothers, Charles Danowsky, Arlon Danowsky, Franklin Danowsky and Wayne Danowsky, and four sisters, Phillis Snyder, Dorothy Miller, Evelyn Kratzer and Charlotte Hartranft.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. in Church Hill Cemetery, Lewisburg, with Pastor Mark Erb officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
