White Deer, Pennsylvania - Harold W. Dieffenderfer Sr, 96, of White Deer, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Born in West Milton on July 12, 1929, he was the son of the late Joel and Sadie (Mitchel) Dieffenderfer. He was married to the former Wilma A. Willow for 58 years until her death in 2008.
Harold was a 1947 graduate of Milton High School and worked for Jasper Wood Products and Masonite International.
He enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Milton.
Harold is survived by three daughters Donna Miller, Kay Dye, and Wilma Hauck; two sons Harold Dieffenderfer Jr. and Steven Dieffenderfer; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers Gordon Dieffenderfer and Warren Dieffenderfer, and three sisters Anna Harner, Alvaretta "Dot" Sheets and Wanda Aikey.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11 a.m. in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia, with Pastor Carl Varner officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St. Milton.
