Guy H. Brosius, 87, of Heather Court, Northumberland, formerly of Silverado, Calif., passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Heather Court, Northumberland.

Guy was born in Greenbrier, on July 20, 1930, a son of the late Sarah C. Kieffer and Henry L. Brosius.

He graduated in 1948 from the Upper Mahanoy Township High School, and attended Elizabethtown College for one year.

He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953 with the 523rd Military Police at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

He began working at Brosius Farm Supply in Rebuck in his youth and was a partner from 1950 to 1954. In 1955, he began working at Pepsi Cola in Los Angeles Calif., and was employed there until 1967. He retired young and traveled the world. He then settled in Silverado Canyon, Calif., and lived there until 2017, when he moved back to Pa.

Guy is survived by one sister, Virginia J. Klinger; nieces and nephews Linda, Trisa, Gregory, Christine, Kim, Ty, Todd, Tammi, Randy and Robbin; and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean L. Klock and Marge E. Bordner.

Viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Himmel's Church, Rebuck, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Jane Compton officiating.

Interment will follow at Himmel's Cemetery.
