Gordon E. Searer
Gordon E. Searer, 98 of DuBois, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Altoona, a son of the late Emory A. and Rosetta A. (Campbell) Searer. On Oct. 5, 1942, he married the former Violet Gross who preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 2006.

Gordon was employed as a wholesale sales representative for Pennsupreme Dairy of Harrisburg.
He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, studied the Bible and spent much time in prayer.
Gordon loved spending time with his family and loved cars and enjoyed working on them.

He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Norma and Paul Gebhart of Sunbury, and Connie and Charles Snyder of DuBois; one brother, Arthur Searer of New York; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was employed by four brothers, Emory M., Edward C., Glenn O., Dale P., Donald H. and Lyle Searer; and five sisters, Mildred Goss, Lois Walter, Alice Ritzman, Lillian Olson, and Winifred Carlson.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 2, at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., 211 S. Main St., DuBois, followed by the funeral at noon, with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dauphin.
While the family appreciates flowers, they request that memorial donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 590 Lincoln Drive, DuBois, PA 15801.
