Lewisburg, PA - Gloria E. Yerg, 97, formerly of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Rolling Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Millmont.

Born February 16, 1928, in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Carrie (Bowersox) Kline. On September 27, 1946 she married Harry L. Yerg, who preceded her death February 18, 2016. Together they celebrated 69 years of marriage.

Gloria retired from Sears, where she worked as a sales associate.

Most recently, she attended Lewisburg Bible Church with her daughter, when she was able.

Gloria loved playing BINGO, telling her family they weren't allowed to visit on days she was playing unless they played with her. She enjoyed crocheting and planting flowers in the summertime. Gloria loved all of her cats.

She and her husband, along with her sisters and their spouses, would go to local nursing homes to play music for the residents.

Surviving are two daughters, June Reedy and her husband, Gary, of New Columbia and Sharon Hartman and her fiancé, Dave Stahl, of Millmont; two sisters, Norma Catherman and her husband, Jim, and Caroline Neitz and her husband, Danny, all of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three sons, Allen, Randy and Keith Yerg; son-in-law, Jerry Hartman and sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Clarence Snyder.

Friends will be received from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 18 at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a memorial service will be held at 1 with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.
