PORT TREVORTON - Gloria G. "Big G" "Nanny Blue" Fredericks, 87, of Port Trevorton, formerly of Morrisville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at SUN Home Hospice Care Center, Sunbury. Gloria was born at home in Trenton, N.J., on June 9, 1924, a daughter of the late John Wishtischin and Alice (Widmann) Wishtischin-Kerekes. She was married to Walter M. Fredericks, who preceded her on May 12, 1974. She attended St. Peter and Paul Cathedral High School in Trenton. Gloria was employed with General Motors during World War II building planes and later retired from Nylonmatics, Morrisville. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Morrisville and enjoyed watching Joyce Meyer. Gloria enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, geology, and going the beach. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Walter and Marsha Fredericks Jr., of Santa Fe, N.M., Louis and Rita Fredericks, of Liverpool, Toni-Ann and Robert Kerner, of Morrisville, and Carol and William Kuntz with whom she resided for the past 35 years, of Port Trevorton; eight grandchildren, Lynn Woodruff and his wife Karen, Jason Woodruff and his wife Jillian, Louis Fredericks, Mark Fredericks, Robert Kerner Jr., Rachel Mucklin and her husband Aaron, Adam Matthew Kuntz and his wife Gwen, and Nickya Rivera; 11 great-grandchildren Tara, Kyle, Madison, Chloe, Robert Angelo, MacKenzie Rose, Olivia Grace, JaSayle, Aidan, Damian, and Kylee; five brothers and sisters, Dorothy Szolomayer, of Gulf Port, Miss., Pauline "Tootsie" Schulze, of Ocean Springs, Miss., Mary Kuzar, of Trenton, N.J., Andy Kerekes, of Bristol, and Charles Kerekes, of Belmar, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded by three brothers, John Wishtischin, Eddie and Joey Kerekes. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a charity of the donor's choosing. The George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
