Glenn Kleinbauer Obituary
Upper Falls, Maryland - Glenn "Chip" Kleinbauer, 88, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, at the Maryland Masonic Home.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1937, in Middleburg. He graduated from Middleburg High School in 1956 and proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Following his military service, he dedicated 46 years of hard work and loyalty to Blue Diamond Trucking Company before retiring in June 2002.
He was an active member of Boumi Temple, Scottish Rite, Masonic Blue Lodge, and the Moose Lodge. Glenn was known for his warm personality and genuine kindness — he was truly a friend to everyone he met and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Kleinbauer (nee Balestrini); his parents, Frances (nee Zechman) and John Kleinbauer; and his siblings, Janet Kauffman and Frederick Kleinbauer.
He is survived by his loving daughters: Kelly McNew (Dave), Amy Zentz (Scott), and Megan Morris (Marc). He is also survived by his siblings, Martha Bingaman and Joe Kleinbauer.
Glenn was a proud grandfather to David McNew (Hope), Christopher McNew, Joey McNew (Yersi), Courtney Lindsay (Tyree), Jordan Morris, and Brian Romig. He was further blessed with great-grandchildren Lily, Emma, Sophia, Aylie, Max, Finley and Lucia.
Glenn's legacy of love, dedication, and friendship will be cherished by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon at Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg, with a masonic service to begin at noon, followed by a funeral service with Rev. Corey Mitchell officiating.
Interment with full military honors accorded by the Middlewest Veteran Honor Guard will be in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
