Georgina S. Renn, 92, of Harrisburg, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at The Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg where she had lived for the past 10 months.

She was born and lived 18 years in Shamokin, raised a family and lived for 34 years in Rutherford Heights, and retired in Middletown, Pa.

She was a 1946 graduate of Coal Township High School. She worked at Nationwide, Agway, and retired from the Dauphin County Housing Authority. She was a member of the Trinity EC Church of Rutherford, where she taught Sunday school. She was a former member of the Christian Campers Assoc., the Airstream Club, and was a former Girl Scout leader.

Georgina enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She sang and played keyboard and piano. She excelled at crafts, especially sewing. She was beloved by all and made friends wherever she went. She was an exceptionally kind, generous, and loving person.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Renn; her parents, J. Elmer and Susie; her sister, Marilynn Benick; her brothers, Lamar and Roley Ritzman; her grandson, Michael Hand; and her great‑granddaughter, Caitlyn Hand.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Renn, Marti (Rick) Wise, and Janet (Michael) O'Rourke; her son, Henry L. (Connie) Renn; seven grandchildren; nine great‑grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
