Port Charlotte, FL - Gary Lee Willow, Sr., age 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025.

Born on August 2, 1938, in Shamokin, PA, Gary was the beloved son of the late Harvey and Leah Willow. He graduated from Shamokin High School and went on to attend Ursinus College.

A man of sharp intellect and quiet command, Gary dedicated his professional life to Mohawk Flush Doors, where he served as Vice President and later President under Masonite International. His leadership helped shape the company's success over multiple decades.

Gary was married for nearly 40 years to Judy Burd Willow, his first love, who preceded him in death. Together they raised two sons: the late Jeffrey T. Willow and Gary L. Willow, Jr.

Gary lived a life full of quiet adventure and intellect. In his younger years, he rode motorcycles, enjoyed boating, and was a lifelong collector of fine watches such as Rolex. His greatest passion, however, was the investment world — which he pursued with deep focus and lifelong expertise.

He was a proud member of several fraternal organizations, especially the Elks Lodge, where he was known for generosity, loyalty, and community leadership.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Karen Willow; his son Gary L. Willow, Jr. and daughter-in-law Mary Willow; his granddaughter Nicole Willow Rowe, and great-grandson Tyler Rowe. Also surviving are his sister LeAnn Hunsicker and husband Ron, niece Kelly, husband Todd, and great-niece Lola.

Gary will be remembered for his wisdom and strength — a man who led not with noise, but with action. His love was steady, quiet, and deeply felt. His legacy lives on in the lessons he taught and the lives he touched.

Per his request, there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to Samaritan's Purse or the American Heart Association.
