Gail K. Dvorshak
Gail K. Dvorshak, 72, of Sunbury, passed away peacefully in a nursing home on Nov. 14, 2019.
She was born Sept. 26, 1947, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Odelia Derr. In 1966, she married her high school sweetheart, Dennis Dvorshak who survives.

Gail was a 1965 graduate of Sunbury High School, the last class of the Sunbury Owls.
After moving to Buffalo, N.Y., Gail began working for Liberty National Bank, then moved back to Sunbury and worked for the First National Bank, and St. Matthew Episcopal Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Chloe Dvorshak.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, followed by the funeral at 11, at Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to the SPCA.

Best friends are difficult to find but even more difficult is the loss of a best friend. What can you say except you were loved and will always be missed. Gail has been a friend of mine since Sunday School at Zion and we have kept in touch all these years. She was a good friend and a good person. I will miss her

I must say Gail made me feel very welcomed at Zion. She's a warm and loving person. And I loved her interaction with her daughter Cloe.
