Milton, Pennsylvania - Gail G. Bender, beloved wife and mother passed away June 30, 2025, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was the wife of Thomas for 65 years and the mother of 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Gail was the daughter of the late Galen and Martha Gable (Ranck), and was preceeded in death by her sister Phyllis Inmon Yohe and a nephew, Darrel Inmon.
A limb has fallen from the family tree. Please keep hearing the voice that says "Grieve not for me, remember all the good times, the laughter and the good life I lived. Keep smiling and the sun will shine through. Remember how truly I was blessed with such devoted and loving children and grandchildren. Continue our traditions — Christmas Eve church and the party afterwards, where we all wore our new P.J.s, Christmas and Thanksgiving Dinners and all the other family gatherings and the times we spent visiting the grandchildren at their colleges. Go on with your life and don't worry about falls. I will miss you all dearly, so keep your chin up until the day comes that we're together again.
Gail graduated in 1957 from Milton High School with honors and received the awards for Office Practice and Typing. Secretarial work was the type of work that she enjoyed. Upon graduation, she was employed as secretary to the General Manager of Merritt-Chapman and Scott for 2 years.
Upon her marriage in 1959 she retired to raise her 4 children. In 1973, she became secretary/office manager of Trinity Lutheran Church in Milton and was employed there for 36 years.
Gail was a wonderful, caring Christian person, who brought out the best in the people she encountered in her everyday position at the church. She was loved by all and was devoted to her job. She also loved animals, especially all the 6 dogs she raised, and her grand cats and grand dogs.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling having taken cruises to Hawaii, Alaska, the Panama Canal, the Caribbean and several other ports, visiting Florida and their children and grandchildren.
