Faith Brosius Obituary

Faith Brosius, 86, of Middletown, passed away Oct. 1, 2018. She was a resident of Frey Village of Middletown for the last 10 years and prior to that resided in Dornsife.


She was born Oct. 27, 1931, a daughter of the late Beulah (Wentzel) Reed and David Reed. She was married to Boyd C. Brosius who preceded her in death in 2009.


Faith was a 1949 graduate of Mahanoy Joint High School now Line Mountain High School.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill.


In her later years, Faith enjoyed playing cards, Scrabble and bingo with her friends at Frey Village. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Penn State football, and the political shows.


Faith is survived by three sons, Matthew of Paris, France, Bennett and wife Nancy of Elizabethtown, and John of Reading; and one grandson. Taylor of Elizabethtown.


There will be a graveside service at the convenience of the family in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Leck Kill.


Memorial contributions may be made in Faith's memory to Frey Village Benevolent Care Fund, 1020 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057, or to St. John's Lutheran Church, 4330 Schwaben Creek Road, Leck Kill, PA 17836.
