Lewisburg, PA - Evelyn J. Walter, 92, of Lewisburg, died July 1, 2025 at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewisburg.
Evelyn was born on February 8, 1933, in Lewisburg to the late George and Esther (Wagner) Feaster. On February 4, 1956, she married, William "Bill" Walter, who preceded her in death October 23, 2014. Together they celebrated 58 years of marriage.
She was a graduate of York School of Nursing, where she would become a registered nurse. Evelyn would move to Alaska and work for Elmendorf, Providence and Alaska Regional Hospitals, all in Anchorage Alaska.
Evelyn enjoyed fishing and rockhounding in the wilds of Alaska.
She is survived by a son, Michael Walter; daughter, Lisa Walter; brother, Charles Feaster; grandson, Samuel Widener and his wife, Tiffany and six great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Mason, Nathanael, Liam, Eli and Riley.
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.
