Lewisburg - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Erickson, who passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 65.

Eric was a devoted and loving father, survived by his parents, brother, two sisters, and his children — Jason, Lindsey, Jackson and Jasmine — who were the center of his world. He took immense pride in his career as Director of Purchasing at WEIS, where he found not only professional fulfillment and a strong sense of community and compassion.

Known for his sharp wit, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family, Eric brought humor and warmth into every room he entered. His passion for family and travel was only matched by his pride as an MSU alumnus, which fueled a lifelong enthusiasm for Spartan sports — something he loved to share with everyone around him.

Eric will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, and as he often reminded us: "Think like an engineer," and "Travel always requires at least three modes of transportation" — a nod to his belief in traveling like a local and embracing the journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Aug. 6, 2025, at 1 p.m. at John Shaw III Funeral Home, followed by a luncheon at Bull Run at 2 p.m.
