Enid J. Lahr, 84, of Old Danville Highway, Northumberland, went home to be with her Lord on Oct. 13, 2020, at ManorCare, Sunbury.

Enid was born July 21, 1936, in Sayre, a daughter of the late Claude and Mildred (Lindley) Billings. On July 18, 1959, she married Wendle R. Lahr who survives.

Enid graduated in 1957 from the high school division of Eastern Pilgrim College.

She was employed with the local funeral home, as their organist, while living in Carthage, NY. Within the Church of The Nazarene, Mrs. Lahr's musical talents were also utilized as a pastor's wife, in the churches spanning 44 years.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, Enid is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Brenda J. and Donald F. Webb of Binghamton, NY, Karen L. and Steven C. Shirosky of Bridgewater, Mass., Candace E. Lahr of Perth, Australia, Kimberly J. Lahr of Burlington, NJ; five grandchildren and spouses, Sarah J. and Caleb Wheaton, Kevin F. and Amanda L. Webb, Gregory N. and Gabrielle A. Webb, Joshua E. Webb, Tyler M. Lahr Tirado; and five great-grandchildren, Isaac, Isabelle, Ivan, Chloe and Quinn.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland. Funeral services will be private with Rev. Wayne Krell officiating.

Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
