Elizabeth J. Wieszkowiak, 95, of Sunbury, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
Elizabeth was born May 23, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Duke) Arasin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Wieszkowiak of 64 years.
She was a member of Saint Monica Catholic Church in Sunbury.
She is survived by her son, Thomas J. and wife Lori Wieszkowiak; daughters, Elizabeth and husband Allen Bolig, Mary and husband Gregory Hayes, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth dedicated her entire life to loving, caring, and supporting her family and serving the Lord.
A viewing will be held from from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Saint Monica Catholic Church, 109 Market St., Sunbury, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m.
Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Saint Monica Church, 109 Market St., Sunbury, PA 17801 or your favorite charity.
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
