Eleanor M. Bartlow, 81, a resident of Montgomery, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020. in the Watsontown Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born Monday, March 13, 1939. at Hughesville, Lycoming Co., Pa., she was a daughter of the late Scott J. and Edna J. (Miller) Umpstead. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. "Wink" Bartlow, Sr. on Dec. 3, 2008.

She was employed as a seamstress by Montgomery Sportswear, retiring in 2001.

Eleanor enjoyed her dog, flowers, listening to music with her friends and going to lunch with the girls. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, always telling them "It was made with love."

She is survived by two children, Ann M. and husband Wayne LaForme of Montgomery and Scott L. and wife Cindy of Watsontown; two siblings, Eugene "Gene" Umpstead of Montgomery and Robert "Bob" and wife Claudia Umpstead of Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Laura Kitner, Jake LaForme, Misty LaForme, Chad LaForme, Jill Walter, Tony "Rocky" Bartlow, January Bartlow and Lindsay Smith; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Walter E. Bartlow Jr., and one sister, Shirley Applegate.
