Elaine C. Mingle, 74, formerly of rural Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, at Oak Glen Health and Rehab Center, Lewisburg.

Born Feb. 7, 1950, in White Deer Township, she was the daughter of the late James Oscar and Thelma (Fisher) Mingle.

Elaine was a 1968 graduate of Warrior Run High School. She worked for the Milton Shoe Factory, JPM, and then retired from International Paper. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Dewart. Elaine enjoyed helping her neighbors, she liked to play computer games, and she loved her cats.

She is survived by three brothers, James and Tina Mingle of Turbotville, Alfred and Sumi Mingle of Limestonville, and Kelvin and Terryl Mingle of Richfield; two sisters, Veneta and Terry Rossbach of North Carolina, and Karen Mingle of Lewisburg, and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar Leroy Mingle and Blair Mingle; and a sister, Janice Potter.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30 in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery with the Rev. John Lee officiating.
