Dalmatia - Donna Jane Brown, age 75, of Dalmatia, Pa., peacefully passed away June 15, 2025, at UPMC West Shore Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 29, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane (Klein) Wilkin. Donna was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary High School, in Westchester, Ill., and retired as a bank teller from Mid Penn Bank after 26 years of service.

Donna was married to Gerald "Jerry" Brown for 56 years. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Millersburg. Donna was dedicated to her family and bringing them closer to God. She will be remembered by many for her warm smile, obsession with chocolate and lack of restraint for desserts, in general.

In addition to her husband, Jerry, she is survived by her three children, Debora DiPrizito and her companion, Brian Rehbein, of Etters, Pa., Sandra Reever of Dillsburg and Michael Brown and his wife, Heather, of Dalmatia; her seven grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Dillan, Ashlyn, Madelyn, Kristina "Alex" and Robert; one step-grandson, Nicholas; and one great-grandson, Cameron; her brothers, Richard Wilkin and his wife, Linda, Daniel Wilkin and his wife, Cyndy; her sisters, Carol McConnell and her husband, Jerry, Patricia Gibbs; and her sister-in-law, Jill Wilkin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wilkin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., in Millersburg, from 10 -11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Millersburg at noon, with burial to follow at Trinity Cemetery, Dalmatia.
