Donna J. Goodwin, 80, of Beavertown, passed away on Thursday, February 6, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born July 29, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late John R. and Thelma (Owens) Phillips. On December 26, 1966, she married Donald B. Goodwin who survives.

Donna was a 1962 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. She went on to graduate from Elizabethtown College with a bachelor's degree in education in 1966. Donna earned her master's degree in early childhood education in 1980 from Bloomsburg University.

She was an elementary school teacher at West Beaver Elementary and then went on to teach in the Mifflin Co. School District until her retirement in 2002.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Donna had an eye for decorating and crafting. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, especially her grandchildren's pictures.

In addition to her husband Donald of 58 years, she is survived by three daughters, Rebekah Goodwin (Andrew Haines), Kelly Goodwin Burri (Markus Burri) and Jacquelyn Goodwin (Jason Ewig); and four grandchildren, Samuel and Vanessa Burri, and Sophia and Ty Ewig.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Lukas Burri.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 10, from 10-11 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown followed by the funeral service at 11 with Rev. Kathy Mercado officiating.

Burial will follow in Adamsburg Cemetery, Beaver Springs.
