Donald E. Fausey, 85, of Grayson View Apartments, Selinsgrove, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at his home.
Donald was born Feb. 9, 1939, a son of the late George L. and Ruth H. (Meiser) Fausey. On Oct. 23, 1965, he married Anna L. Foreman, who survives.
He was a 1957 graduate of Sunbury High School. Donald went on to proudly serve in United States Army.
He attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Shamokin Dam.
Donald was a member of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 50 years.
He enjoyed collecting coins.
In addition to his wife of 59 years, Donald is survived by his son, Dennis Fausey (Judy); his daughter, Anita Knoebel (Timothy); five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Fausey; two brothers and one sister.
A viewing will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mindy Bartholomew officiating.
Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
